
Claudine was appointed to the Scyne Advisory Board in February 2024. Claudine's other appointments include a Director of HivePix, Director of Ogilvie and Ogilvie, and a Non-Executive Director of Cuscal.
Claudine brings substantial experience in strategy, technology and innovation and deep expertise in leading digital transformation to deliver client-focused solutions. Claudine is the Managing Director for O&O Consulting, and previously a Non-Executive Director with Youi Insurance. Claudine led the Digital and Data businesses (including innovation) for Compass Group in Asia Pacific and was also the Chief Information Officer for the Jetstar Group of Airlines; and Chief Information Officer for Ridley Corporation. She also held senior product management, sales operations and marketing roles for International SOS, BP Australia and Unipath France.
Claudine holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Diploma of Business Management from the Ecole Superieur de Commerce Reims, France. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and alumnus of the Australia-ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program Kuala Lumpur and the Asialink Leaders Program (Melbourne University). She also holds qualifications in Quantum Computing and Al from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Andrew was appointed to the Scyne Advisory Board in November 2023. Andrew is a former Judge of the Federal Court of Australia and is a Fellow of The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and Fellow of the Resolution Institute of Australia. Andrew's other appointments include Chairman of Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition and is a member of the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service Advisory Board.
He was also President of the Copyright Tribunal of Australia, a Presidential Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Deputy President of The Australian Competition Tribunal. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland School of Law. Over 17 years, his Honour delivered over 900 judgements in both the original and appellate jurisdictions of the Court in all of the Courts national practice areas.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Laws by the Senate of the University of Queensland, and also by the Council of Griffith University.

John Mullen was appointed to the Scyne Advisory Board in November 2023. Mr Mullen is currently Chairman of Brambles Ltd. and Chairman of Treasury Wine Estates. Other appointments include Chairman of the Australian National Maritime Museum and a Director of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP.
Previously, Mr Mullen was Chairman of Telstra Group Ltd and Chairman of Toll Holdings.
John has extensive experience in international transportation and logistics, with more than two decades in senior positions with some of the world’s largest transport and infrastructure companies. From 2011 to 2016 John was Chief Executive Officer of Asciano, Australia’s largest ports and rail operator and prior to this John spent 15 years with DHL Express, serving as the global Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2009. Prior to DHL, John spent 10 years with the TNT Group with four years as the Chief Executive Officer of TNT Express Worldwide based in the Netherlands.
Former appointments also include the US National Foreign Trade Council in Washington (2008-2010), and Member of the UNICEF Task Force on Workplace Gender Discrimination and Harassment (2018-2019).
John holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Surrey.

Adrian Loader was appointed to the Scyne Advisory Board in June 2023. Adrian is currently Chairman of Team Global Express, Camp Australia, and Discovery Holiday Parks. Previously, Adrian has held roles as CEO, Director, and Chairman at ASX-listed and private companies.
Adrian is a joint founder of Allegro Funds and has over 25 years’ experience in transformation private equity and investment in Australia and South-East Asia. Transformation is core to Adrian’s ethos; he always “believes in better”, working in true partnership with management teams to realise the potential in the companies he works with. Adrian has a track record of delivering high quality business and commercial outcomes through a distinctly hands-on approach.
Adrian has a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from College of Law and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from FINSIA. Adrian is a Chartered Accountant of Australia and a Qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Fay was appointed to the Scyne Advisory Board in June 2023. He is currently a Managing Director and Partner at Allegro Funds and is a member of its Investment Committee.
Fay has over 20 years of experience in private equity, investing and strategy in Australia, the U.S. and Asia, and prior to Allegro, worked for firms including Pacific Equity Partners, Babcock & Brown and PAG.
Fay holds various directorships and is currently Chair of Gull NZ. Previous directorships include Chair of Best & Less Group, Chair of Ngahuia Group, Non-Executive Director of Team Global Express’ Shipping business, Non-Executive Director of The Interiors Group, and Non-Executive Director of Endeavour Learning Group.
Fay holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology from the University of New South Wales (Co-op Scholar), a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (Macquarie Scholar), a Master of Arts from the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania (Leonard Lauder Fellow), and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.

Richard Gwilym is Scyne’s Advisory Leader and Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a role he has held since Scyne’s establishment in November 2023. As Scyne’s interim CEO, Richard has been pivotal in leading the company through its transition and will continue in this capacity until the arrival of the inaugural CEO in November 2024. In his substantive role as Advisory Leader, Richard oversees the Advisory Leadership Team (ALT), where he is focused on bringing Scyne’s enterprise strategy to life through a laser focus on client delivery.
With over 23 years of experience in professional services, Richard brings extensive expertise in digital strategy and transformation, particularly within the public sector. Before joining Scyne, he was a Partner in PwC’s Consulting business, where he advised clients on technology-enabled strategy and transformation. Richard’s work has consistently focused on managing major change initiatives, aligning culture, structure, process, and technology with strategic goals.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Hull.

Jane was appointed as an Executive Director to the Scyne Advisory Board in December 2023. Jane is currently a Managing Director at Scyne, within the Strategy and Transformation team. Based in Canberra, she works with a range of Commonwealth Government clients on the design and delivery of large programs as well as corporate services reform. She is passionate about working with clients to establish strong and effective enabling functions and capabilities that best support agency and government outcomes.
Prior to joining Scyne, Jane was a Partner at PwC, leading the Portfolio and Program Management Consulting team in Canberra. Jane’s experience extends across the Government sector, where she was a senior executive in the Commonwealth Government working across several agencies, including in cyber security and other national security functions. As a senior executive, she ran executive and strategy functions as well as corporate and enabling functions. Jane also worked in agencies going through significant change and transformation and led various parts of these transformations from business case through to implementation.
Jane commenced her professional career as a private sector lawyer, specialising in corporate advice including corporate structuring, intellectual property and sales transactions.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University, and a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School.

Craig is Scyne's Head of Strategy, responsible for coordinating the implementation of Scyne's strategy and driving growth across its diverse capabilities. Before assuming this role, Craig was the National Markets Lead for Infrastructure & Property at Scyne.
Craig has extensive experience in strategy, policy and commercial advisory, supporting both public and private sector businesses achieve organisational growth and deliver major infrastructure projects. Craig’s expertise spans the infrastructure, property and capital project sectors across all Australian States and Territories. Craig has previously held senior roles in Western Australia Government and Local Government, primarily in Urban Planning and Strategic Infrastructure.

Ben is a Managing Director at Scyne Advisory and the company's Clients & Markets Lead. A Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the UK-based Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Ben holds postgraduate qualifications in HR and business qualifications.
With over 20 years of experience working in the public sector, Ben has a strong foundation in corporate and HR functions, having held leadership roles in various Australian Public Service (APS) departments. Ben transitioned from the APS into consulting, where he has held numerous account and capability leadership positions, most recently serving as the ACT and Defence Lead for Scyne Advisory.

As Practices & Assets Lead,Diane is responsible for ensuring Scyne Advisory has the right people, skills and capabilities to deliver on its strategy and meet client needs.
With over 19 years of experience in management consulting, Diane is an expert in partnering with clients to improve their customer experiences through data and digital solutions. Diane has worked extensively across areas such as Social Services, Health, Transport, and Justice, and she previously served as the NSW Lead for Scyne Advisory.
Diane is passionate about collaborating with government to rebuild trust and deliver improved social and economic outcomes by putting citizens’ needs at the forefront of policy design and service delivery. Diane is committed to maximising the strengths of diverse perspectives and supporting her team in creating a work environment that is equally represented.

Steph is a Managing Director at Scyne Advisory and the company's Managing Director Succession and Engagement Lead. Steph is a HR and workforce transformation expert specialising in supporting clients through complex change.
With over 20 years of global experience across the private and public sector, Steph excels in developing tailored workforce solutions. Steph is passionate about the future of work and believes that employee experience is integral to innovation.
Steph is an AHRI Fellow Certified Practitioner Human Resources (FCPHR) and an active member and former State President of the Australian HR Institute.

Mark is the Operations Lead at Scyne Advisory, where he drives operational excellence and transformation. With a focus on delivering seamless execution and ensuring consistency across our geographies, sectors and practices, Mark fosters a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in providing strategic services to both government and industry, Mark specialises in commercial, economic, environmental, and social advisory. He has previously held roles in the Victorian Government and at the Institute of Public Administration Australia.
Mark's expertise in aligning operational strategies with organisational goals is integral to Scyne Advisory's mission of delivering excellence in support of Australia's public purpose.

Melissa Wong was appointed Scyne’s Chief People Officer in May 2024. She began her career in professional services and consulting. Prior to joining Scyne, she was Chief People Officer at Myhealth Medical Group and she has also held senior People & Culture leadership roles at Medibank and NAB.
Melissa is responsible for leading Scyne’s People function, including talent, capability and learning, engagement and culture, performance and rewards, diversity and inclusion, workplace relations, health, safety and wellbeing, strategic workforce and resource management, people operations, and internal communications and change.
Melissa is passionate about creating a great people experience and supporting people to have a meaningful impact on their clients and communities.

Sarah Niederle is Scyne's Chief Risk Officer (CRO). After acting in the position through the establishment of Scyne Advisory, she was formally appointed as Scyne's CRO in March 2024. Sarah is also a Managing Director in Scyne Advisory, and has previously led the national governance, risk and compliance practice.
Sarah has extensive experience in the breadth of subject matter within the remit of the CRO, including governance, risk management, ethics, compliance, quality, continuous improvement and assurance. Sarah has over 17 years of experience in professional services, as a practitioner in the necessary disciplines and in advising public and private sector clients both in Australia and overseas.
Sarah is passionate about supporting Scyne Advisory in delivering on its purpose, through establishing and operating appropriate risk management and continuous improvement aligned to the needs of our clients, our people and broader stakeholders.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics, is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ), and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Richard Hilliard joined Scyne in May 2024 as Chief Information Officer. He and his team are responsible for Scyne’s technology platform and future roadmap. Prior to joining Scyne, Richard held the CTO role at the nation's largest NDIS plan manager, My Plan Manager.
Richard has over 25 years of technology experience across Banking, Financial Services and Government sectors and has a proven reputation for delivering complex technology change and transformation.
From 2018 – 2020, Richard was General Manager, Technology & Innovation at ORIX Australia reporting to the CEO. Prior appointments included senior technology positions in Aussie Home Loans, Macquarie Group & AMP Capital.

John Ball joined Scyne as its Chief Executive Officer on 5 November 2024. Prior to joining Scyne, John was Managing Director, Customer Solutions at Google Australia and New Zealand for 10 years. Before that, John spent 17 years with Microsoft in multiple roles through Australia, South-East Asia, China and the United States.
In addition to his professional experience, John has shown great commitment to serving his community through his board and fundraising for Cure Cancer Australia over the past eight years, and recently has been appointed to the National Retail Association Board.
John holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Science) and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney.

Nick Sutherland was appointed Scyne’s Chief Financial Officer in January 2024. Prior to Scyne, Nick was Chief Financial Officer at both Calibre Group and Broadspectrum, and previously held various finance roles at listed Australian companies including Transfield Services, Goodman Fielder, Westfield Group, Origin Energy and CSR.
Nick has extensive experience in contracting and consulting businesses, managing finance teams responsible for finance operations, financial control, management and statutory reporting, strategy and M&A, treasury and tax operations, procurement, information technology, investor relations, internal audit and risk management, shared service environments and projects and business improvement.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and is a Chartered Accountant in Australia.
